Casino betting for the good, the bad and the not so ugly

When walking through a casino, you may scratch your head and think, “What game should I play? slot machines? ” There are thousands of them that tempt you to take a little twist. “Maybe a little black Jack? ” This game is no longer your father’s blackjack. Since then, it has evolved into many variants. Considering dices? Those tempting prop bets can drain your bankroll quickly.

Here are some of the best, worst, and not so ugly bets in casino games:

Machines

· The good – Video Poker.

Learn the basic strategy in the Jacks or better, bonus and double bonus games that offer a maximum bet of 5 coins. Always check the machine pay charts to see if there is one that pays at least 9/1 for full and 6/1 for flush. These games are over 98% efficient and your money can last longer. Don’t play with those with pay tables lower than 9/6.

· The bad – Penny Slots

Very popular with exciting themes, colorful graphics, and attractive bonus features. However, the yield is in the 80% range. Casinos have to save more because they make less money from them. The hit rate is about one in three spins, but many of the so-called to win returns are less than your original bet.

· The not so ugly – Traditional 3-reel slots

If you absolutely must play the slots, try the non-progressive 25 cent, 50 cent or $ 1 machines that accept a maximum bet of two or three coins. (While they are still around). Returns average around 95%, and when you hit a hit, your smallest win will be at least the amount of your original bet.

Tables

· The good – Traditional blackjack

Stick with the tables that pay 3/2 for blackjack, deal from your shoes, and offer liberal rules like allowing re-splits, doubling smoothly, doubling after splitting, and late surrender. First, learn the basic strategy. Avoid optional side bets.

· The bad – 6/5 Blackjack

Many casinos have reduced their Bj payment from 3/2 to 6/5. A player can wait three to four BJ’s per hour. Receiving $ 12 instead of $ 15 at a $ 10 table will deplete your funds faster. Another bad bet is to play at a table with a continuous shuffling machine. Hands played per hour jump from roughly 60 to 80.

· The not so ugly – Blackjack switch

This game is catching on fast. You play two hands at the same time and have the option to switch the top cards to create better hands. Blackjack only pays the same money, but the game has some advantages for the player. Once the change is made, the basic rules of Blackjack apply. You can divide, double, etc.

· The good – Craps: pass line with probabilities.

There is a reason this bet is the most popular on the table. When you place an odds bet behind the pass line after a shooter’s number of points is set, they will be paid in true odds if the point is made before a seven is rolled. For example, the true probabilities of the numbers four and ten are 2/1. A $ 10 odds bet would pay $ 20.

· The bad – Craps – One-shot proposition bets

You have an opportunity to bet that a certain number will emerge on the next spin. For example, a bet on two or twelve will pay 30/1 if you get it right. The truth is, you only have a 1 in 36 chance of winning.

· The not so ugly – Craps: wrong bets

FOR incorrect gold whose The bettor is a player who bets against the shooter. When you place a bet on the don’t pass the bar, the player waits for the shooter to roll a seven before the point number. This is called seven out; all bets lose against the house except the incorrect bettor (s). Whose punters also have an odds bet option, but they have to set odds rather than accept them.
