Find out if your neighbor has a criminal record or a court order

Criminal record

Criminal records show a lot of details about a person. It shows what crimes were committed and when, the city, if the person was arrested and even the outcome of the court and what fines had to be paid. If the person spent any time in jail, that will also be there along with the estimated time the person should be released.

A criminal record not only shows people’s arrest record, it can also show family members. If the person has a close relative, sometimes the report will show the names and addresses of these people. It will show where the person used to live and possible phone numbers the person may have.

When a new neighbor moves into a neighborhood, it’s always best to take a few minutes and learn some of their history. If you are a known rapist or pedophile, everyone will want to know about this. It will help keep women and children safe from harm. If the person is a pedophile, it is a law that he is supposed to report where he is moving so that authorities can notify the neighborhood. However, this doesn’t always happen, so don’t put your neighborhood at risk by not knowing.

Warrants

There are many different reasons why a person might have a warrant issued for their arrest. If you did not appear in court for any reason, the judge will issue a warrant for your arrest. If a person has committed a crime and there is evidence that the person committed the crime, then there will be an arrest warrant.

Arrest warrants are issued by judges and there must be sufficient evidence to convince the judge that the person was involved in the crime. If there is insufficient evidence, the judge will deny that the arrest warrant was issued. When the judge approves any court order, everything is turned over to the police station. The station will enter everything into its database and it is now a pending order. The pending order is in effect until said person is in custody. Once the person is arrested, the warrant is pulled from the database.

Should you approach a neighbor?

When a person conducts a criminal record search on a neighbor, there is a possibility that there may be a warrant for their arrest. It is never a good idea to approach someone wanted by law and ask about any court order. It is not known how the person would react knowing that a person verified their name and found out that the law is looking for it. It is not worth taking the risk of putting the person in danger. The best thing to do is call the proper authorities. Give authorities the information that was found along with the address of the person sought. When verifying the information, the authorities will go to the indicated address and arrest the person.
