Denon 3808CI – The reasons this is the perfect receiver for me

Recently my old AV receiver broke down and I had to replace it. I find it very overwhelming with all the different brands of receivers out there and it also frustrates me that each one of them claims that their product is the best. It may seem unimportant to some people, but having the correct receiver is very important to me, so I was very happy when I got the one that is perfect. The one I have is the Denon 3808CI receiver and let me tell you why I am so impressed with it.

I have a good setup for my home theater because the Denon 3808CI instructions are very clear and easy to understand. After setup, I was very impressed with the clear sounds and the receiver easily picked up my favorite radio station. I must say that I was very tempted to just invest in a brand new home theater system. But why didn’t I do that? It’s because you couldn’t justify buying a whole new system when you could only replace the receiver.

So what’s so special about this Denon AV Receiver? Well, for starters, the setup was made a lot easier for me as it has an auto-setup feature, which is a bonus. Second, it provides excellent sound comparable to really expensive receivers at a very reasonable price. There really isn’t much negative I can say about this receiver. Look at its specifications:

GUI (graphical user interface)
4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output
converts analog type signals to 1080p, either HDMI or enhanced HDMI
upconversion for video with excellent definition of standard type
automatic speaker calibration
Dolby True HD
web interface
decoding with DTS-HD Master
XM Satellite Radio Capability
firmware updates (can be done over the internet)
installer-like logins that are fully remote and easy to customize

To wrap up my Denon 3808CI review, I have to conclude that after researching so many receivers on the market, I think this is the one I find the most functional and easy to use, plus it’s also very easy to set up. Connectivity is very good, and best of all, sound quality is excellent. If you ask me if I can say something I don’t like about this, I have to say that the GUI (graphical user interface) takes some getting used to.
