Judgment Day Has Come: A Brief History

Once upon a time there was a poor old man who lived with his children in a small house. So poor was he that he was only able to take care of them after undergoing hard work. Despite their father’s struggle to satisfy them, the children were not thankful. Despite the fact that he continued to sweat incessantly for days and days on his farm to earn the money to feed and clothe them, they were not satisfied … When they were given food, greedy children screamed for more … Out of fear, the father gave them more . Whenever he didn’t, they ran for the pot and helped themselves to a lot of what he saved for the next day …

As for clothes, they only cared about the most fashionable ones. Whenever he came back with cheap, ordinary ones, the children called them ‘dirty laundry’, grabbed and threw them. Then they would demand more money from you to buy the fashions of your choice.

The father’s health eventually deteriorated and he was unable to work as hard as before to earn a living. The children could no longer eat as much as they wanted. They couldn’t get enough to even keep them in good health. They could no longer get good clothes to wear. It was now. The fanciful clothes of their past desires had now drifted far from their minds.

One day the brothers were all gathered on a mat, hungry and sad when the youngest of them suddenly got up and announced, “I have an idea.” “Come on, you idiot!” the others implored. “We could go to town and get a job,” the young man said triumphantly, smiling as if he had just discovered the cure for AIDS.

“Come on, stupid,” said the older one. “Is that the most brilliant idea you can come up with? Can’t you see that the way this country has become is the last thing one should hope for?”

“Well, there’s nothing wrong with trying,” he replied. We may be lucky.

‘Well,’ said the other brother, ‘we could try something else. People are getting very frustrated these days … So we could easily touch their hearts with something that has appeal and we would not just live, we would live.’ ‘Really well. ‘

‘Good man!’ the others yelled excitedly, ‘Let’s hear it, man. Let’s hear it! ‘

‘We will move to the farthest part of the country,’ he declared, ‘and we will settle into the church business. We would win many souls who would contribute generously to build our mission ‘

“Fantastic idea,” everyone yelled with great enthusiasm. Fantastic, man! We are going to have a lot of money. Soon we will all be millionaires! Oh what a great day it will be for all of us! ‘

They left the next day aboard a minibus. They traveled long stretches of provincial highways. After about five hours of grueling travel on rough roads, they reached a sparsely populated city. They got out and continued the rest of their journey on foot. After walking a long way through dense forests, they came to a remote Fakai. It was night in this remote town and people were gathering in the town square.

‘Good evening, good people,’ they chanted, ‘We are men who have been traveling the country spreading the’ Good News ‘in an effort to improve their lives and make them happy:’ People hugged them with joy and gave them a cheerful welcome.

The next day they began holding religious services in a small clearing in the center of town. As this continued every day, many more people in the village were attracted.

Within a few months, a church was built and furnished. The brothers took all the important positions for themselves. The oldest was the vicar, the next in line was the curator, and the third the lay reader. The youngest, minor, got cleaner. The church was now fully established in the community, and more and more people flocked to it. The brothers, who had arrived in town looking lean and exhausted, were now plump and dignified-looking. At that point, the town was at the mercy of a well-organized gang of thieves. Attempts to halt their activities were unsuccessful. No one felt safe enough to sleep at night. People stayed awake as if they were on guard duty. The slightest sound gave rise to a feeling of fear and helplessness.

A meeting was called in the town square. Many of the villagers met in a short time due to the urgency and seriousness of the matter. They talked about the bad things that were happening in the town. The climax of the assembly was a speech by an elderly woman.

‘Things have gone by the wayside. The good things of the past no longer exist. People are now behaving like beasts of the jungle. Gone are the days when the elderly were respected. People are selfish now, without regard for others … Doing wrong has become a sport; everyone is playing with the greatest joy. People, to destroy each other, use all kinds of means. Everyone wants power and wealth, and they are not afraid to do anything in their rush to get it. “

“Stealing is no longer the serious crime it once was … Big thieves thrive and get fat on us, while we continue to suffer. But don’t feel like they’re getting away with it, because they certainly aren’t! all our evil ways. Yes, he is taking stock of all your sinful acts. Just as God is counting, Satan will be COUNTING. Also, on JUDGMENT DAY, both of them, standing on opposite sides, will be choosing to take out those who have made fit to go with either of them. Satan will put your group on one side and God will have his on the other. Now is the time to repent and side with God before events take hold of you … ‘

The brothers looked at each other knowingly. Then the meeting continued. After each operation, the thieves met again in the church’s backyard to distribute their loot. On Saturday morning they returned there with a bulky loot. Towards dawn the cleaner came out to dump some dirty water. He threw him into the gutter and was retracing his steps inside when he was hit by voices emanating from the very backyard he was retreating from. He stopped and listened carefully. He heard it too clearly. Now:

“You one, you one, you one, I one, you one, you one, you one, I one …” When he turned to leave, the voices exploded again.

“You one, you one, you one, I one.

Your one, your one, your one, I one … “

His mind returned to the words of the old woman in the meeting: He knew immediately that it was Satan and God speaking.

‘Eeeehhh! , .. Luud a ‘pity, oh!’ he exclaimed when he realized. ‘Coming Soon? I knew it would come so soon; however, she didn’t warn us to get ready? What should i do now? Oh, it’s too late! JUDGMENT DAY is here! … Oh Father! … Oh Father-God, help me! Help me God! He screamed, shaking his head up and down in deep supplication.

Meanwhile, the thieves continued to distribute their loot on the corner. Recalling some items that were dropped on the road, one asked: ‘What about the ones on the road? Who is going to have them?

.

The cleaner was surprised. His head was spinning. and spinning in pain. His heart kept beating strongly and insistently against his chest, as if struggling to break free from there. He was sure his time had come.

.

‘Where are those who are on the road? I haven’t seen them yet! The voices hit him closer than before. His entire body was now in violent vibrations. His heart beat at a death-inducing rhythm. His brain was spinning inside his head. Nothing seemed to belong to him anymore. It was as if he was floating in the air. His feet began to involuntarily run with him, as he kept pleading aloud: ‘Oh God have mercy, I beg you, I beg you, please have mercy, oh God, I beg you!’ His loud screams drew his brothers out to see what was going on. They were surprised when they saw their brother in such a state. They ran to him, asking what was wrong with him.

“Judgment day has come! I saw God and Satan choosing who should go with them.”

They couldn’t wait any longer. They followed their younger brother until they reached a distant forest where they camped and began to pray fervently. Since then they have stayed there praying and waiting for God to come for them. They are still waiting.
