Motorola mobile phones: always in the fight

Motorola, which has always been one of the pioneers in mobile services, is one of those companies that is always innovating, reinventing and improving its products. Motorola was the first to launch products such as dual-band, tri-band and quad-band phones and the flip-flip mobile phone. Keeping up with the market, Motorola continues to improvise on its previous products and produce new ones. Some of the latest Motorola mobile phones include the Motorola MOTO Q11, the Motorola Rapture VU30 and the Motorola W7 Active Edition.

The new MOTO Q 11 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard. It comes with 64 MB of RAM plus 128 Mb of internal flash memory expandable up to 16 GB, supports WiFi and is ideal for high-speed browsing. It has a large 2.4 inch 262k TFT screen with a high resolution (320 x 240 pixels). The camera is 3 megapixel with a powerful 8X zoom, LED flash and video recording features. It works on a quad-band network (GSM 850,900,1800,1900) and is connected to GPRS and EDGE. Fully charged, it offers a standby time of 195 hours and a talk time of 7.5 hours. With dimensions of 117 x 64 x 11.7 mm and a weight of 115 grams, this Motorola mobile phone is a profitable purchase.

Living up to its name in innovation, Motorola has introduced the Motorola Rapture VU30. It has an external screen “disappears” sensitive to touch. Although it has a 2-megapixel camera, this Motorola mobile phone has enhanced its image to produce a digital camera-like experience. It comes with video playback and recording features. It has a 2.2-inch (240×320) main screen and a 1.6-inch (120×160) external screen. Other features include music player, Bluetooth and voice recognition. The phone measures 99 x 48 x 17mm and weighs around 96 grams. Fully charged, it provides a standby time of 470 hours and a talk time of 4.5 hours. A shiny rounded shell design, it easily stands out from the crowd.

One of the few Motorola GSM devices to be announced this year, the Motorola W7 is a stylish slider mobile phone. Its key selling feature is the built-in accelerometer that allows users to use hand gestures, flicks, and taps to control phone functions. This Motorola mobile is a useful 3G device with a 2.2-inch 240 x 320 pixel screen, 2-megapixel main camera, second VGA camera for video calls, expandable microSD memory, Bluetooth technology, media player and FM radio. The internal memory is 30 Mb with a slot for cards up to 8 GB. Fully charged, the phone’s standby time is 300 hours and talk time is 8 hours (2G)/3.5 hours (3G).

Apart from these phones, there are many other communication devices launched by the great Motorola brand with a host of sophisticated features. It can be expected that we will have more Motorola mobile phones in the future, with more and more features that have not yet been imagined.
