Graduation Party Idea – Candy

Ideas for having candy as part of your prom come in two forms: candy that you will serve during the party, and candy that you can choose to send home with your guests.

Sweets that you will serve at your party:

Usually this refers to a large sheet cake that has been decorated to honor the graduate, cupcakes (also decorated, if possible), and bowls of candy for everyone to eat, such as M & Ms, jelly beans, or other sweets. Similar.

Leaf cakes are usually the most profitable dessert to serve to your guests., especially if it is homemade. On the “Coolest-Birthday-Cakes” website you will find 24 different home decorated graduation cakes. Most local supermarkets and warehouses, like Costco, have bakeries that can also produce fabulous cakes at reasonable prices.

Cupcakes are so much fun and are “in” right now. If you decide not to make them yourself, go to your grocery store or store and talk to the bakery about how you would like to decorate your cupcakes. Maybe with a graduation cap or a scroll? Or maybe something like “Class of 2009” on every cupcake?

The M&M website allows you to order custom M&M (color and what’s printed on them) and this could be a fun option for placing candy bowls. However, it is a bit expensive.

Sweets to send home with your guests:

These serve as party favors and are always well received (who doesn’t like to receive gifts, and delicious like that). You have the option to purchase your favors and some of your options include: Chocolate Diploma Lollipops, Custom Label Hershey Bars, Custom Label Mint Tins, even Personalized Label Candy Corn!

You can also make your own candy bags. buying gift bags at most craft stores. Then, with your computer and printer, make your own labels and stick them on the bags. All that’s left to do is fill them with your choice of candy or homemade cookies. Your guests will love taking these delicacies home with them.

I wish you a sweet graduation party!
