When hockey players start out in the NHL, they get pulled in a lot of different directions because they’re making all this money and they have no idea that the kind of friends they’re dealing with are people who aren’t the kind of people you would make. like around. This refers to the type of women that end up catching many hockey players and almost all of them are treated as “Puck Bunnies”. This is the hockey term for groupies. Many professional athletes are the main target of these styles of women who are more financially and sexually curious. Most of the athletes who are married or dating women started out as groupies. Virtually all of them are teenage girls between the ages of 18 and 25 and a good number of them are not really educated because women who are educated would not settle for the role of garrison.

These styles of ladies will either hang out near the locker room or try to get seats on the floor so they are accessible to the players. Most of the time, these ladies are just looking for something to show off. Almost everyone talks about their sexual escapades with professional athletes as if it were some kind of game to them. Some of those games involve players getting pregnant and then trying to hold on to them by demanding support and child support because for them a couple of thousand dollars or more a month is more than what most normal women who are not involved with someone famous for child support.

Classic example of a groupie of a woman who had an affair with Michael Jordan, but tried to frame him for a son which was later shown to not be hers because she had 3 sons and each of them had different fathers who played in the NBA on different teams. The ladies will end this form of behavior and then when the athlete gets tired of them, he will casually dispose of them like used Kleenex as most of these players only see them as a sexual conquest. This is why leagues have come together to do in-service meetings with new players and some who have been there at least 2 years on how to behave, as coaches see a lot of good players get burned out by these ladies that are not even worth bothering with.

The difficult thing is that the management of the team can provide the players with the tools to be cautious and know how to detect ladies that are like that and know how to avoid them, but you have those athletes whose egos get them into trouble. When coaches and team management tell these rookie players what the problem is, they are telling them how to avoid getting engaged to ladies whose goal is to get a baby and some money, as they don’t really care about the athletes in general. I mean they have been with one that has more to do with status and bragging rights. Most athletes who have a close connection with trusted friends and family will likely stay the course and also keep their heads in the right place because many players get involved and then wonder how they got there in the first place. Many athletes have formally said they regret messing with groupies because of the trouble they bring when they get dragged through the mud with court hearings and other legal stuff and quite a few times groupies find dragging an athlete entertaining. through a lot of drama and tension.
