Accommodation is one of the main components of your trip. It plays the role of making up for your home. As Moshi is a small town in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and not far from the Northern National Parks, many tourists start their journey from here.

There are many lodging establishments available, from exclusive to camping sites in and around the city. It is always better to book in advance because the best ones are usually full in high season. I’m sure you wouldn’t want any unpleasant surprises after your arrival.

Protea Aishi Lodge: About 4 km from the town center. Located next to a creek, beautiful environment, solar heated pool, in-house restaurant, and well-maintained hotel. Right choice if you are taking a break between safaris and/or climbs.

Kilimakyaro Lodge: Located in a serene location on the outskirts of the main city, this hostel is one you will fall in love with. The fantastic view of Mount Kilimanjaro from this spot is what brings me there most often. The hotel’s restaurant serves basic continental fare and its collection of antiques will keep you occupied until the food arrives. Swimming pool, baby pool, large garden, geese, flowers will seduce you.

Impala Hotel: Located in the shanty town, ie; about 3 km from the city center is a nice and cozy place. The hotel’s restaurant serves Indian cuisine and English breakfast. Swimming pool, TV, experienced staff are specialties. in the room will remain and. It will suit both tourists and business travelers.

Villa Sal Salinero: This hotel is also located in the shantytown, very close to the Impala hotel. The restaurant serves Indian and continental food. Cozy rooms, fantastic interiors, swimming pool, beautiful garden and flowers will make your stay comfortable and pleasant.

Country houses in Bristol: In the village, cozy well-kept property. Personalized attention and quite close to the bus stop, bank, forex, shops, etc. Bed and breakfast services available.

Mountain Inn: This property is owned by a tour operator “Shah Tours”, which specializes in mountaineering. If you book your tour with them you will inevitably stay here before the climb. Cozy rooms, Indian and continental cuisine, swimming pool, sauna and beautiful garden are supervised 24/7 by experienced staff.

kindoroko: This 2-story building on the main street (called as the double street) is quite close to the market, shops and sights. Fits a traveler’s budget.

Hotels with a crane on Kilimanjaro: Within the city but not on the noisy roads.

Parkview Hotel: Recently built property located within the village facing Uhuru Park. Shops, market, bank are located within walking distance.

Leopard Hotel: In the village. A 3-story building with a market and shops is quite close. Internal F&B service available.

Hotel Zebra: 5 story building across from main street which cuts out some noise. This hotel is newly built and well maintained.

Uhuru Hostel: Located a bit in the shanty town, it falls a bit far from the main town. But if you are looking for a longer stay or just want to relax and stay on budget, this IS the place for you. African and international cuisine is served at the F&B restaurant. The children’s playground with chairs for adults in the open air attracts not only tourists but also local residents.

YMCA: They are located near the city. The large swimming pool and other sports facilities will keep you busy. This also gives you the opportunity to meet some residents. F&B serves African cuisine.

Hotel Keys: A bit out of town means a quiet environment for this hotel. It has been in business for a long time, therefore reliable.
