Why don’t I celebrate Christmas anymore?

I was lucky enough to grow up in Risingsun, Ohio, next door to my Grandma and Grandpa Hoover on their farm that embraced where we lived, encircling us with loving arms on either side (until age 11) and behind, our forest above us. a little further, where I loved to walk as a child, always looking for my falcon “brother”, circling overhead, to greet me.

Anyway, besides my parents, Grandma and Grandpa Hoover always made sure we had a rich Christmas celebration, in every sense of the word. We always went to his house next door (an orchard between us) on Christmas Eve and to Grandma King’s house in Fostoria on Christmas Day.

Grandma Vivian Hoover always made sure we had lots of wonderful home cooked food and baked goods of all kinds and different kinds of fudge and peanut butter (my sister Sue and Grandpa liked it), and that we each got ten gifts to open. She shopped all year from mail order catalogs and hid them upstairs somewhere. She also preferred blue Christmas lights, like candles in the windows, and would always ask us to bring down the box with her artificial tree (because she was allergic to the real tree) and the sleigh bells to put around the front door and sweets. canes for the tree…

As children, my sisters and I always wanted to open our presents right away, but Grandma left that decision up to Dad to decide whether or not we ate first. We ate first (which is certainly wise).

So I know the warm and lovely Christmas memories that many have, having experienced them, but once I learned that such holidays are actually of pagan origin, impure celebrations that the Great Creator God of the Bible forbids His children, and that God wants us to enjoy family and friends and keep wonderful memories Their Biblical festivals that are kosher, I quickly stopped keeping Christmas and started keeping God’s holy days with His blessing. I now try and help expose Christmas as an abomination to others who might never have known otherwise!

I hope and pray for America and our Israelite peoples everywhere who have been gentilized in many ways, to remember our Hebrew roots (identified on the Brit Am Israel website) and Biblical responsibilities and move closer to our God and further away. of the. those ways and days that He strongly disapproves of since God loves us.
